2 weeks from today is BAND CAMP! Please be working on your music and getting outside! Watch your email for a welcome letter and a breakdown of each day of camp along with things you will need! It's going to be an incredible year for the Mount Vernon band department!
Heritages Days Parade was a blast! Now we set our focus on Band camp! August 5-9. All solos will audition at 7:00AM on Monday, August 5 prior to camp beginning! Camp starts at 8:00AM and goes until 5:00Pm daily. Lunch will be provided. LETS GO!
Final Heritage Days parade rehearsal is Friday, July 12th from 1:00-2:00PM at the high school. Wear tennis shoes, have your flip folder and lyre. Practice the music or routine. Sat. we line up at Cornell College stadium at 9:30AM. Parade begins at 10:30. Wear your tour shirt.
Heritage Days parade rehearsal tonight 6-7PM in the HS band room. All members including 8th and Freshman should attend! Wear tennis shoes and light fitting clothing. Use back door entrance by Art room. Next rehearsal is Friday 1-2PM.
The Colts have moved into Mount Vernon! It's going to be an awesome week with one of the Nation's top corps!
Fundraising items will be delivered on Tuesday, June 11th at noon. Pick up at the HS scene shop loading area from 1:00PM - 4:00PM. YOU MUST PICK UP DURING THIS TIME! We cannot hold anything here at the school so plan ahead!

Congratulations to the Mount Vernon Concert band for the Straight Division 1 ratings at State contest. This is their tenth Division 1 rating in a row! BRAVO BAND!
Bravo to our 19 Seniors on a tremendous final concert! One more moment together at Large Group and their time with us is complete. What a journey they have had!
One more week with these incredible Seniors. You ahev two chances to see them. Wednesday at 7:30PM and Friday at 5:15PM. Both in our beautiful PAC.
Join us on Wednesday, May 1st at 7:30PM for the Concert Band's Large Group Concert. We will also acknowledge our 19 Seniors and their parents. It will be an emotional night of goodbyes!
