Try meditation and you may find out: that reality isn’t so bad at all. It’s only the expectations you put on your reality. That makes it difficult. Add compassion in the mix and we have world peace ✌️ Wait maybe I live out side of reality I go back drawing ✍️ creating my own

A small golden oldie from my archive. Walking through a shopping street, a pet store window stopped me in my tracks. A cluster of newborn chicks… and next to them, a KFC salad bowl — innocence and irony in one frame. Still one of my favourite moments I’ve ever captured.

I made this drawing back in 2012 while waiting in the dentist’s chair I wanted something to look at that invited imagination instead of anxiety. It now hangs in their new practice, welcoming everyone who walks in. A small reminder: even in tense moments, art can soften the room.
