To be fair, I would guess the @1Password implementation works a bit better in edge cases. But thanks for mentioning Global Autotype!
Aaand it’s broken – 0.8 will crash on save when a database uses the ChaCha chiper. Please grab 0.8.1 to fix this issue. Do not ask how high my heart rate went up, after I did encounter that crash!
Missed. Marginally by my standards 😅
I’m on track to get 0.8 out this year. It’s been a while but the main changes have been implemented and there are just some little things to clean up for the next release! Thanks for your patience!
A huge “Thank you!” to all loyal MacPass users. The long wait for 0.8 is over. This version fixes all the nasty UI bugs under macOS 11 and 12. Additional features are: KDBX4.1 support, XML v2 support for key files, native Apple Silicon binary and TOTP support and more…
AutotypeURL 1.3 has been released. It adds support for Firefox and is now available as a Universal Binary for Intel and Apple Silicon. github.com/MacPass/Autoty…

Release 1.3 Firefox Support · MacPass/AutotypeURL
Changes Added support for Firefox by @rburgst in #15 Native support for Apple Silicon Requirements MacPass 0.7.10 Full Changelog: 1.2...1.3
An often requested feature is finally done. Focus search after unlock.
The next thing the is to get all plugins compiled for Apple Silicon. After that’s done I think I pick up the unfinished CSV import export plugin as well as the 1Password importer.
Been sorting through the issues reported on GitHub to get 0.8 out. Fixed a lot of quirks regarding search. If all goes well a release this week seems to be a real possibility. 🤞🏻
The UI for the TOTP setup is working. Did have to iron out some kinks in KeePassKit but it finally seems to work as expected. Now onto all the other little fires that need to be put out to get 0.8 out the door.
We’re getting there. KeePassKit 3.1.0 done. MacPass TOTP support almost done.
Well, KeePassKit 3.0 (github.com/MacPass/KeePas…) has been released. Now onto MacPass 0.8.
A bit late to the game but finishing the implementation of Time-One-Time-Passwords shouldn’t take much longer.
MacPass 0.7.12 has issues with the toolbar not properly being enabled and disabled on macOS 11 Big Sur. The upcoming 0.8 release will fix this issue. Additionally 0.8 will raise the minimum os version from 10.10 to 10.13.
