Signs of work on @Disneyland’s Fantasmic! The princess barges have been dry-docked and moved to a backstage warehouse behind Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Perhaps we’ll get some show enhancements during this unscheduled downtime?

The @Disneyland Monorail resumed nighttime operations today — the first day since the start of the pandemic that it has operated past 7 p.m. The attraction’s hours are finally the same as the park’s!

A major repainting project has begun on all three of the @Disneyland Hotel towers. It looks like the royal blue and tan color scheme is being replaced with a sky blue and off-white color scheme — perhaps to better complement the new DVC tower under construction?

The @Disneyland Paradise Pier Hotel retheming project appears to already be kicking off! Scaffolding has been erected along the base of the south tower, creating a scaffolding foundation that can now be extended upward to repaint the entire tower.

The new #CaliforniaAdventure entry gate exclusively for Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel guests has been unveiled off Disneyland Drive. The gate is to the immediate right of the existing card-key gate leading to Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel. Looks about ready to open!

Shocking “KILL PEDOS” graffiti has popped up along a @Disneyland Resort wall facing Walnut Street — possibly linked to the far-right protests last month on Harbor Blvd. The concrete wall surrounds the main #DowntownDisney parking lot.

This crowd was small, but their message is scary. In case there’s any doubt this is going to lead to violence against the LGBTQ community, imagery like this is starting to show up.

The southwest corner of the Disneyland Hotel has turned into a jumble of pipes, metal and big machinery as construction accelerates on a new 12-story, L-shaped Disney Vacation Club tower.

Magic Key stickers already have started popping up across #DowntownDisney to signify locations that will give keyholder discounts starting tomorrow. Best of all, though? The stickers are in the unmistakable shape of the @Disneyland “Here you leave today” entrance plaque!

Vertical construction on the #DisneylandHotel’s new #DVC tower has begun with installation of a row of metal pilings (peeking out over the top of a construction fence) near the Goofy’s Kitchen/Conference Center building. Nearby, a construction crew grades and preps the site.

A @Disneyland Monorail-themed gate has been installed at the main pedestrian entrance to the Disneyland Hotel on the eve of the hotel’s reopening. The keycard gate will enable Disney to restrict non-hotel guests’ access to the hotel grounds and/or implement security screening.

The return of fireworks to the skies above @Disneyland will take place four days ahead of the official July 4 debut of Mickey’s Mix Magic! A midweek test run has been scheduled for June 30, just a half hour after the park closes — and while #DowntownDisney is still open!

A privacy screen has been installed along the green fence that runs the length of the @Disneyland tram route, further insulating guests from the “outside world” (of Disneyland Drive) as they traverse the half-mile tram route on foot.

The @Disneyland Resort marching band is coming back! I spotted the band practicing in full formation tonight on an access road that runs behind Cars Land, effectively confirming the imminent return of live music to the parks. So amazing to see — and HEAR — them again! Listen in:
