BLACK HISTORY & MAGIC Black Herman (né Benjamin Rucker 1889-1934) aimed to not only perform magic, but to spread a powerful Black political message while doing so. His most famous act was “Buried Alive” where be proclaimed medically dead, be buried, then return to finish his act.

I know some performers are making more money than they ever have, have a full calendar for the first time, and in Zoom have found their niche. Nothing personal, but it is my hope that by fall the demand for Zoom shows is plummeting, and virtual is a tiny sliver of the market.
Pre-Orders of my new book are now live! During the pandemic I worked remotely with Assouline's art director to create a luxury coffee table book for all lovers of magic. No expense has been spared. I can't wait for people to start receiving, and reading, this book.
