I don't remember the details about the controversy with @MManakovaChess's book, "A Zillion Chess and Life Hacks," but I am halfway into it and love it. It is full of wisdom, psychological insight, practical advice, and wit.
My book has just been reissued. Several editions have been already sold and now - reissue. This means that the book in my native Russian is selling very well. I hope that the English version of this book "the Zillion chess and life hacks" will have the same success.

At a tournament in Russia one women chessplayer poisoned another (not to death) using mercury. Just came before the round and poured it on the board. But video camera fixed it. In my book I describe various cases of opponents influencing each other, but poisoning with mercury!..
