Thank you to the seven teams of educational leaders from KY, AL, FL, GA, IN, & SC that dedicated their time this past week to support school improvement through the @CogniaOrg Diagnostic Review process in Kentucky.
School leadership teams came together this week as part of the @ALSDEOSI & @CogniaOrg partnership to discuss optimizing student success with student centered master schedules and engaging in strategies to enhance performance on state accountability metrics.
We are grateful for the 2 teams of educational leaders from AL, GA, TN, & TX conducting Diagnostic Reviews this week in AL. The @JEFCOED & @CogniaOrg continuous improvement partnership brings groups with diverse perspectives together to provide targeted feedback for schools.

Spending time with instructional leadership teams in 3 AL schools this week has been inspiring! Together, we conducted classroom visits analyzing strategies that have been the focus of recent improvement efforts. Collaboration+data-driven insights=stronger teaching and learning.
It was an energizing end to the week with school leadership teams discussing turnaround leadership, prioritizing intentionality and consistency, observational structures and impactful feedback loops. @ALSDEOSI & @CogniaOrg partnership focuses on capacity development.

Lima North Middle School students are excited to develop their leadership influence. @shawnharper075 is partnering with the school to mentor and motivate students. His message this week- be an influencer by demonstrating focus, respect, and servant leadership.
It’s been wonderful to reconnect with so many friends in AL over the past 2 weeks. It is always inspirational to see dedicated leaders who are passionate about school improvement. @CogniaOrg partnerships for Institutional Improvement foster relationships for shared commitments.
Equity demands higher expectations because kids will rise to the level you set.
