Coco is on the move in MAP @WyominaWarriors. Monday she went horseback riding with some friends. Tuesday she was off to the races with a sack race and Wednesday she got a bird’s eye view of the program from a hot air balloon.
Coco has been enjoying her vacation at MAP @WyominaWarriors. Last week she worked on her art. Vacationing can be hard, so Coco took a nap. To ensure she doesn’t get sick and is ready to help with Santa’s Christmas Eve deliveries, she is drinking vitamin C right from the source.
Coco enjoyed another day at MAP @WyominaWarriors showing the students how important self-care is during the holiday season.
Coco, the mischievous elf, will be ‘vacationing’ at MAP @WyominaWarriors until it’s time to return to the North Pole. On Thurs she disguised herself as a snowman and on Fri she taught the students how to make snow angels with no snow! 🤯Who knew this could be done in Florida?! 😆
Winter has arrived at MAP @MOESmanatees with this Peanuts winter wonderland wall decoration.
MAP @Saddlewood_MCPS kindergarten students were inspired to create their own alphabet tree craft after reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.
To celebrate Pink October, MAP @LMSLibertyPridecreated a poster to help raise awareness for Breast Cancer.

MAP @MaplewoodElemen ESE program learned how different items react to each other through making lava lamps. Combining water, food coloring, oil and an Alka Seltzer tablet to a bottle creates a reaction that leads to colorful bubbles thus mimicking a lava lamp.
MAP @OSEPanthers demonstrates rain going through clouds using water, food coloring, and shaving cream.
Check out the flowers made by the kids in MAP @WyominaWarriors. Using coffee filters, markers, water, & pipe cleaners the 3rd -5th graders made beautiful flowers. The k-2nd graders used colored pencils, dyed rice, and glue to turn coloring pages into colorful works of art.
MAP @GreenwayGators are creating their own fashion statement with upcycled paper towel tube bracelets. They take a paper towel tube, cut it in half and cut along the spiraled line. Once decorated, they are ready to show their style!
Fall is right around the corner and the temperature is dropping! To celebrate, MAP @LMSLibertyPride made festive fall wreaths.
September is Johnny Appleseed month at MAP @Hillcrest! To celebrate, they made apple paper plates.
During early release day, 9/4/24, students in MAP at Fordham | VPK – 2nd (@FordhamFavorite) created paper dragons using cut outs of their hands for the dragon’s body.
Students in MAP at East Marion Elementary were challenged to build a bridge using select building items. The bridge had to be strong enough to hold all three Billy Goats Gruff and tall enough, so they would be out-of-reach of the Troll!
The students at MAP @EMSpride showed their creativity this week with a marble wall maze and life-size portrait. With a little help from a friend to trace them onto paper, the kids got to express how they view themselves with a life-sized representation.
Many MAP sites including our programs @DrNHJones , @WyominaWarriors, and @MSA_Owls learned new things about the Chinese culture as well as some facts about the Great Wall of China while making these models, masks, and drums.
Special thank you to the families and employees of MAP throughout Marion County. We were able to collect: 858 non-perishable food items 181 pairs of socks 49 hair conditioners 29 body lotions 20 body washes 33 misc. hygiene items A total of 1,170 items were donated to The Rock.
