This is sensational. Not a hint of irony. Quite brilliant. 👏🏻👏🏻

Use less text. One of the most important tips for creating engaging scientific presentations is reducing text as much as possible. The audience is not there to read but to listen to you 1/7 @AcademicTwitter #AcademicChatter

"can you see what I'm sharing?" *quickly reads all your browser tabs* "yes"

Stuff like this really annoys me from @BBCNews. Do they not realise that some people will JUST read the first paragraph and stop there? Yes, the title does something to tell the whole story but is bolding a paragraph SOLELY on the (very low) risks the best opener here?

Agree. Totally correct to condemn wreckhead football fans but don't think many people/workplaces realise how much they pressure people into, and normalise/actively encourage drinking (however "casual" or "social" they consider it to be).

Aren't we partly responsible when we talk so openly about big drinking nights relate it to celebrations and happiness? We are telling kids, this is the way to celebrate. And they want to double the efforts so their party is really the memorable one. Am I getting this right?

18 million Covid vaccines given. 66 anaphylaxis. No deaths. Brushing your teeth is probably more dangerous than getting a vaccine. Jog on, anti vaxxers #VaccinesWork

Update of anaphylaxis from mRNA vaccines: 66 cases out of ~18 million vaccinations (=0.00000003%). All but 1 within 11 minutes. No deaths. @JAMA_current jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/…
