Physios provide vital services in keeping older people in good health, particularly in preventing falls, so this is really concerning: "You have got 5000 people dying every year from falls. It is the leading cause of mortality for older people.
We all want the consumers to have the right treatment, at the right time by the right person with minimal financial and structural barriers. That is true contemporary health reform and should be front and center for our leaders and the PHC Taskforce. @apaphysio @ian_hickie
