Today is National Appreciate a Dragon Day, so I want you all to appreciate this dragon I drew a few years back that was retweeted by the official Eric Carle Museum account, which is honestly and truly one of the highlights of my very short-lived artistic career.

Someone just hacked my @ markspuddle account on Instagram. They deleted all of my #KidLitArt; wiped my profile clean. They changed the password and the device it authenticates to so I seemingly have no way to recover it. Anyone know how I can get it back?
This one is written under my Mark Spuddle pen name but I posted the pitch from my main account because I have significantly more followers over there.

My KidLit Hopes and Dreams: A Post-Mortem I woke up feeling like myself today for the first time since mid-November. My withdrawal symptoms from Cymbalta lasted roughly ten weeks. The past couple of months have been the most painful and terrifying of my entire life.
PSA: I’ve been on Cymbalta the past couple years for my fibro pain, but my new doc has me tapering off it and it’s been throwing me off a bit and impairing my judgement. I’m not even halfway through the taper, so if I seem erratic the next few weeks, that’s probably why.
I'm going to deactivate this account for awhile starting tomorrow until I can get my meds straightened out and my mental health in check. Thank you to everyone that has reached out to check on me. Traci and Annika are taking good care of me, and I'll be okay eventually, promise.
The cocktail of a dozen or so meds my new doctor put me on recently, combined with Cymbalta withdrawals, has been causing mood swings that range from euphoria to seething rage, and I've been yanked up and down by them every waking hour for weeks now and I'm just exhausted.
