Early railfreight livered class 31 stabled in the up Station sidings at Sheffield Station in 1988 ,in my opinion I think that livery suited the class .

Only time I saw a network south east livered class 50 in Sheffield Station, 50037 Illustrious pauses at platform 5 with a Swindon _ Scarborough charter on Sunday 7th August 1988 ,the 50 worked as far as York.
