Once robots and AI become as capable as the poor ( not as far off as you think ) the poor will be excess to requirements. The poor will be an inefficient cost that serves no purpose. The chosen rich will remain. Sounds Sci Fi but Sci Fi invaribly becomes Sci Fi fact.

I dont know how anyone on minium wage will be able to afford energy bills and live. Forget the pipe dream of owning a house one day. Your mortgage sized energy bill will put and end to that.
