In Spain I was so inspired by work of my host Elena Gil @ET21MaThinking. I visited a math workshop she pioneered for kids with Down’s Syndrome. They explore, make discoveries. And they love it! Do you believe that *everyone* can flourish in math? She lives it out! 👇 1/🧵

My Masters advisor created one of our core courses based on @mathyawp Dr. Su's book right after its release. This course and the book changed me as a teacher, teacher leader, and person.

A wonderful visit to @HopeCollege. I had a meaningful, moving visit with students in the Hope-Western prison education program, who had read @Math4HF. And I met Alvin, who painted this self-portrait that now hangs in the Hope library. Look closely at the purple book on his desk!
