Detentions of city officials from opposition-run municipalities continue in Turkey with the mayors of Adana and Adıyaman now in custody.
After publishing a cartoon picturing the Prophet Muhammad, Turkish cartoon magazine Leman’s office was attacked by a group of protesters. The authorities also launched a legal investigation against the cartoonist and the managers of the magazine.
