Compri 685 gelati. Sono spariti 848 gelati. Il problema é tutto qui.

This is perhaps the biggest secret to the productivity and viability of our two-person teams at 37signals. All our web designers work directly with the native materials of HTML, CSS, and usually even a fair bit of JavaScript and Ruby. Not in Figma. world.hey.com/dhh/design-for…

Didn't know you could get modules' type, TIL

🔥 TypeScript Tip #13 🔥 Want to turn a module into a type? You can use typeof import('./') to grab the type of any module, even third-party ones. Here, we create a type from a constants.ts file, then map over the values to create a union.

Love the idea of a CSS framework that doesn't use classes. Just ships much better default styles for basic HTML elements. Smart. simplecss.org

On interruptions when coding “You’ve been building to this moment for 50 minutes (…) you’re about to unlock the mysteries of what on earth could be triggering a nullreference exception in this 3rd party library call that you’re pretty sure — HI!!! How’s it going?” Brilliant.

Developers spend like 97% of their time being frustrated about something that doesn't work. To balance this a little bit I like to take a 5-10 minute walk every time something works. 🚶‍♂️😌

I continue to be legitimately baffled at the number of people who seem to be under the impression that context is a "state management" tool, or "stores state". starting to feel like I need to write a blog post on "Why React Context is Not a State Management Tool"
