We’re taking our little train over to The Emerald Isle for the week. Looking forward to being back in Dublin - especially when we get to take it to the wonderful @gaiety_theatre!

Always a treat to head up to Edinburgh and to be playing a venue for the first time! Thanks to the fab team at @captheatres, and to the many people who came to see the show in the last week. But the Orient Express and all of our suspects have now departed for @camartstheatre!

A bit slow with this one, but a huge thanks to absolutely everyone at @TRPlymouth for making last week so enjoyable for all of us on the Orient Express. Lovely to be home, lovely to be back where it all started, and of course some lovely company! A week isn’t enough for me!

Thank you to our wonderful audiences here at @NorwichTheatre! Always a pleasure to come through here and see some familiar faces. Two more shows and then the Orient Express will be heading for @TRPlymouth! Looking forward to being back at the home venue! @orientexpressuk

Thank you @LighthousePoole for a lovely week! A busy week, but made much better by some amazing sold out audiences! But now I’m in Dublin for another 2 week stint at the @gaiety_theatre. Very glad to be back here again - although it’s all a very big deja vu moment!!

A bit behind as we’ve had a week off since - but thanks to the folks in Exeter for a fun week. Some lovely people looking after us, and some cracking audiences! Surprisingly, considering it’s one of the closer ones, it’s the first time I’ve set foot in @ExeterNorthcott.

This is a Lyric Theatre call… might take me a while to stop saying that…. Two lovely weeks at @wycombeswan and @The_Lowry! Thanks to the teams in both for looking after us all so well and giving us a good laugh at the same time. To Wes & Beasley - meep meep! Next stop: Exeter.

A massive thank you to everyone at @CreweLyceum for welcoming in our Mousetrap family last week! It was so nice to be back after 4 years - and with some excellent company as always. It certainly made the shows a lot easier! Hopefully it won’t be another 4 years this time!

Thanks to Southend, Doncaster & Swindon for looking after us over the last 3 weeks. My first time in all of them. But now somewhere I feel I know quite well! Crewe Lyceum, here I come! I’ve got “Together We’ll Be OK” and that annoying crocodile song stuck in my head… Ah panto…

A massive thank you to everyone at @gohbelfast for looking after us all so well. It was certainly an intense one with 8 shows in 5 days, but being in such a welcoming (and sold out!) venue made all the difference. Until next time Belfast. Next stop: Southend. The small one!

Thank you @QueensBstaple for a lovely week and for looking after our little Mousetrap family. Must say it felt a lot nicer being there this time with me actually knowing the show and all that… swear I had a bit of Footloose PTSD going on there for a bit!

It’s the final day for us at @RoyalDerngate! Thanks for looking after our Mousetrap family, and also lovely to finally meet the @Giraffesontour! Our Stitch is going to be very jealous!!

Saying goodbye to Cumbria and heading for Northampton. Some dodgy trains this morning and a bit of train hopping required - but not long to go now. Maybe I should’ve just stayed by the fire with this view over Blencathra! Not too shabby for an iPhone shot.

“The snow’s coming down thick. What do you bet were snowed up tomorrow?” A very snowy walk at Aira Force/Ullswater this morning. My poor camera wasn’t having much fun out there! I’m somewhat impressed with the handheld long exposure - well done Sony!

A new tour family! Welcome to the lovely bunch joining us for the next 6 months. I’m sure we’re going to have a great time. Two weeks at the St Martins and then opening in Sunderland. Opposite ends of the scale there! We had a fab week but now it’s a week off (ish)… Feels odd!

After a weekend at home I’m on my way up to Sunderland for tech. The first leg is 7 hours with CrossCountry. 7 hours. 4 cars. £180. Can’t help feeling our trains are a bit of a con at times - but let’s see how they do! I’ve still left plenty of time for the inevitable delays!

Hey old friend Are you ok, old friend? Yes, a bit of a Sondheim-y commute today… It’s nice to be back in this beauty for our final (eek!) cast change though. Any London pals who are around over the weekend or in the evenings next week, give me a shout!

This is it! The final show of 2023, and the final show for this lovely company. We may have had our ups and downs, but thank you to everyone for all the laughs. Also a big thank you to all the theatres! Nearly time for a nice break, and then back to Monkswell in the new year!

What a glorious week we had at the beautiful @HallforCornwall, with The Mousetrap nearing 71 and the theatre celebrating its 2nd anniversary since it reopened. A huge thank you to all the staff, both front and back of house, for some excellent company and of course the cream tea!

Thank you @SwanseaGrand and @castle_WEL for another lovely couple of weeks. I miss my beach walks in Swansea on my way into work! But now we’re off to Truro for a week at @HallforCornwall. Looking forward to being back in this stunning building!
