Over 20 years. That's how long I've been helping build, grow and scale companies. Now I'm making my return to X. Why? To share what I've learned and assist entrepreneurs, agencies and companies through the use of modern technology and superior organizational design.

If you're a founder and think there's responsibilities that cannot be done without your oversight, you're doing it wrong. Your path is ego and not capital.

Salespeople eat their own dogfood, while marketers drink their own champagne. Think about that.

High churn often comes from giving away all your value upfront. A phased approach, where clients grow and evolve with your service, ensures sustained engagement and long-term success. Don't just deliver wisdom—guide them through their journey to revenue.

Quality team members accept responsibility. Immature team members make excuses. Use this information to lead and guide the immature, not sit in judgement. We all needed help on our journey.

An ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) tells you about the businesses and people you serve from a categorical level. Directs where and how you communicate. Personas tell you how to speak to those people and address their pain points. Directs what you communicate.

Specialized sales models crush generalist sales systems every day of the week. The ability to hold someone accountable to one thing and isolate their activities is a key to success. This is why tech companies have SDRs, BDRs, Sales Exec, Sales Engineers, Customer Support..etc

(and imo a surprisingly learnable skill. if you struggle with this, consider asking a friend who is good at it to listen to you say something and then rephrase it back to you as concisely as they can a few dozen times. i have seen this work really well!)

Write your beliefs in sand. Carve your principles in stone.

Flex your value, be fulfilled... 1) Write down your skills and highlight the ones you enjoy flexing. 2) Be critical and creative, identify the value these skills can offer the market. 3) Reach out to businesses in need and offer your expertise, regardless if they are hiring.

Company culture is shaped by the orgs vision, mission and core values. Then solidified by the leadership within the org. Having the right culture is a force multiplier. Mediocre solutions have outsold best in market, because the mission was deeply owned by employees.

Don't engage in conversation for the purpose of teaching, but understanding. This is true especially in politics, where we coaxed to only listen for what's wrong with another's point, rather than what's right.
