I’ve moved back to my mums part time and tonight found my bedroom door wedged shut by a metal detector I was told not to bin ‘just in case’, and I think it’s a great example of why you shouldn’t find yourself back in your childhood bedroom at 29.

Chris Adams operated on me 13 years ago, halting my Scoliosis and making me far more mobile than I would be otherwise. Waiting times in 2011 were bad, but this is a disgrace.

Once upon a time, I was dumb. Like super dumb. I was 19, and I agreed to let a strange man pick me up for a date. He’d told me he was in his late 20’s, but I knew immediately when I saw him that he’d very much lied. Did I leave? Nope, of course not, bc I was dumb.

I only realised my daughter was misreading the gingerbread man recipe when she announced that we needed "either one or four teaspoons of salt." I looked & saw that we needed 1/4 tsp of salt. By this point I had already added one or two teaspoons of ginger, mixed spice & cinnamon.
