An official academic department account at a public university sending out tweets like this amounts to a display of a sexually hostile work environment. Try to imagine a similar tweet being sent out by any other official state-funded entity at all.
Amy Wilkins and Shantel Buggs are not "feminists" by any reasonable definition of the term. Sexual violence against students can never be "feminist."
Survivors of sexual violence in academic sociology are cautioned not to trust Nicole Bedera @NBedera who has maintained long-term and ongoing personal association with perpetrators of abuse, and practices the same institutional rape culture she pretends to study and criticize.
Repeated public expressions of support by Philip Cohen for Shantel Buggs as a "scholar" establishes that Cohen openly supports sexual harassment against students and targeted violence against anyone who speaks against sexually toxic cultures in work and education environments.
