-Venues existed before Mare. -Mare users VASTLY overestimate how many people used Mare compared to the *entire playerbase at large* -People RPed via text for years and YEARS before FF14 was even a thing, let alone Mare. If you needed Mare to make RP bearable, you don't like RPing
this will: -ruin many, many venues -make SE lose a huge chunk of their playerbase -make roleplaying so much more boring i played entirely vanilla for years but i LOVE seeing my friends' characters. thats what made it fun. good lord
The culture and representation feel incredibly hollow when the MSQ worked very hard to focus on Alexandria so much. I *wish* there was more focus on Tural as a whole but it all feels like set dressing with the MSQ shift to Alexandria. I want a better story to accompany it all.
