Since year 1 of grad school I have been passionate about studying EDs in people with polycystic ovary syndrome. I was derailed by COVID, but have been working with a collaborator to look at data on PCOS in the US military. Data cleaning is done and I am now diving into analyses!

My 1st PCOS project is published! Led by Dr. Long, we reviewed RCTs testing lifestyle modifications for AYA with PCOS. Interventions generally improved PCOS sx, but the lack of studies testing comprehensive, evidence-based lifestyle programs is concerning. tinyurl.com/3r2vc2c5

I mentioned to a mentor that I am outraged by an in-press paper that provided inaccurate definitions of EDs, such as BED = eating a larger amount of food than others would. They said “you should write a response”… so if I don’t reply to your email today it’s bc I’m doing that
