I would love to see someone take on the classic Oddworld game style. One of my favorite worlds/aesthetics.
Beyond Sunset uses the GZDoom engine. Functionally, the game is a Doom mod under the hood. We created a lot of novel solutions that haven't ever been done in GZDoom before, including robust AI driven by Behavior Trees, Navmesh-based pathfinding and Mormonism.
