Jesus perpetually frustrated the wealthy and powerful because he refused to honor them and play by their complicated rules, choosing instead to minister to the needs of the poor and simple. #Bitcoin frustrates Wall Street and Washington for many of the same reasons.

The Christian life is marked by love: love of God, neighbor, and even enemies. Such a love is willing to speak the truth boldly even at great cost to itself. #Bitcoin (via those who own it) proclaims to governments a needed but unwelcome message: You are not God.
As important as it is to make and maintain good friends, it’s equally important to make the right enemies. Christ was loved by the poor and weak and hated by the outwardly religious and powerful. #Bitcoin makes all the right enemies. One by one they will bend the knee or die.
The Pharisees professed love for God and a desire to honor his Law, but they continued to heap up more and more “commandments of men” onto it until it became unrecognizable and oppressive to normal people. Pharisaism was the derivatives market of the Divine currency: love.
You will one day die, and Bitcoin will cease to be of any help to you. Bitcoin is an incredibly useful tool. But tools serve a specific purpose, and even the best of money can't solve every problem. And that's okay, because Something greater than Bitcoin is here.
