I'm worried that my next project isn't going to achieve it's full potential because I don't know how to market it. It's free, so I don't care to make any money from it, but I just want to create something that others will use and enjoy.
Decided to stop trying to brainstorm profitable SaaS ideas and just build something that I think should exist in the world. Getting close to being launch-ready. Anyone wanna guess what I'm building? Hint: it's a locator of some sort.
Spent a few hours today "working" on a new project. After I finished I realized I hadn't made any progress towards shipping the product. I wasted time working on non-urgent, semi-important work that definitely doesn't need to be done for a month or so.
I reached out to an admin of a discord and reddit community within my niche. I was able to get some good feedback from the discord members and a link to my site in a pinned comment in the subreddit! Today's a good day 😊
I'm realizing how hard it can be to balance life when building something you are passionate about. Dirty dishes and laundry are piling up and I don't get out of my apartment to socialize enough. Building just seems more fun, but I know its not healthy.
Added 5 new job sources. We now have over 150 jobs on avjobcenter.com🎉 I'm a little skeptical of the "posted date" of listings on some jobs sites. Will watch to see if they keep updating the date to make the listing seem new. I want our scraped info to be accurate!

I've realized that in some ways thinking is my worst enemy. Rather than taking action, I often find myself spending hours researching and thinking about what's the most important thing to do next. Its probably better that I just do something even if it isn't the most efficient.
Got excited when I saw this... then realized it's probably just me testing the site across various devices 😂
I've seen many indie founders try Ahrefs then cancel their subscription because its too expensive. Has anyone tried @answerthepublic for keyword research? They seem to have quite a generous, affordable lifetime deal. I might give it a shot myself.
