Imagine doing the CARB for this and taking these drivers accounts

Wanted to share this with you all. Times are hard at the moment but we are all in this together. Stay safe #StayHomeSaveLives #lockdown
There have been numerous comments on this - that the officer should be arrested, prosecuted, suspended, summarily dismissed. Some of this is not possible or may not be appropriate. 1/

The @metpoliceuk used to give us stickers. Best community relations efforts ever. Bring back stickers!
Ken tells Julia: We are now being asked to make dynamic decisions, risk assessing each situation as to whether PPE is needed. If my colleagues feel far safer wearing a mask, then let's let them wear one. Let’s procure the masks and allow them to wear them.
Chairman Ken Marsh scheduled to be on @talkRADIO with @JuliaHB1 shortly discussing policing in London and the challenges the #coronavirus crisis brings our hard-working members.
Officers from SW MSC patrolling parks and communal areas today around Merton and Wandsworth, keeping Londoners safe. Thank you for respecting the lockdown #StayHomeSaveLives
Chairman Ken Marsh on @talkRADIO. “We are getting there but I don’t think we have enough Protective Equipment. But the whole world wants what we want.” Ken emphasises importance of PPE for colleagues: “We struggle to self distance because of the nature of being a police officer.”
Have always found Martin Hewitt to be a thoroughly decent and fair man every time I have taken a probationer to see him for a Reg 13 appeal and other dealings. He’s one of the good ones
If there’s some PPE from the set of The Bill knocking around we may be OK!
Fully operational ventilators from the Holby City set arrived at the new Nightingale Hospital yesterday. @BBCCasualty & @BBCHolbyCity Exec Producer Simon Harper said: "We are only too happy to help out and do what we can for the courageous and selfless real life medics."
Unless you can keep a social distance of 2 metres or more from your colleagues and any member of the public, then we strongly recommend that you should wear a face mask in order to keep you, your colleagues and the public safe. - @PFEW_Chair polfed.org/news-media/lat…
“@PFEW_HQ position to police officers is clear and unambiguous; unless you can keep a social distance of two metres or more from your colleagues and any member of the public, then we strongly recommend that you should wear a face mask.” polfed.org/news-media/lat…
We stand shoulder to shoulder with our @MPFed colleagues with this! Clear, practical and police focused guidance that is constant is needed here! ‘This is not an exercise’ @CityPoliceCops @CityPoliceCmsr @MHewittNPCC
Chairman Ken Marsh: “We fully endorse this position. Safety of our Metropolitan Police Officers is paramount. If officers are unable to socially distance from their colleagues - like in a vehicle on the way to a job - or the public then they should wear a protective face mask.”
“Constantly changing advice, lack of guidance and mixed messages from PHE, NPCC and HSE is nothing short of a disgrace. This is not a training exercise; this is reality and a matter of life or death," says @PFEW_Chair as we release clear safety guidance. bit.ly/3aVZFb5

Metropolitan Police officers are out there every day protecting the public - @MetPoliceUK must ensure it supplies appropriate PPE in sufficient numbers to our officers to Protect the Protectors. There has to be a duty of care #Covid19
#Police officers accept a level of risk when they join The Job. They do not accept risk for their families. Officers may get assaulted – but their families are safe at home. The difference with #COVID19 is police officers are potentially taking that risk home to their families.
This is amazing @MetFedRep 👏🏻😍Kind and helpful Police officers in Islington fixing up recovered bicycles for #nhs staff. Heart warming 💙
