Three consecutive days of the NEC 3817 being delayed. Trifecta complete. I can only imagine NYPenn and SecJec currently, Newark Penn is beginning to look like a shit show.

Rail service in and out of Newark Penn Station is subject to 45 minute delays in both directions due to an Amtrak trespasser strike in Newark.<P>NJ Transit rail tickets/passes are being cross-honored by PATH at Newark Penn Station, Hoboken and NY- 33rd Street.

I really need to either A) move closer to work or B) start driving to work (like I did over the summer). No announcements from @NJTRANSIT about delays yet here we are, not moving on the NEC at all. Least the conductors this time are telling us we are delayed.
Want to know what would be nice to know @NJTRANSIT? Why the NEC3817 just rolled backwards from Newark Airport to Newark Penn just to go back on it’s merry way. Would be nice if the conductors communicated w/us.
So I’ve luckily been able to avoid taking @NJTRANSIT for a few months. Today is my first day leaving out of Newark Penn in a while. So far I’ve seen one arrest, been aggressively panhandled, and propositioned by a church. On and theres fresh blood on Track 4. Never change NJT
One thing I have not missed at all about not taking the train lately? Getting harassed for money/food by the “residents” of Newark Penn. Not a NJTPD Officer in sight this AM so you can guess how bad panhandling was.
Odd that there are so many trains canceled lately. Did a batch of engineers quit or retire? I find it hard to believe that much is different between this month and last month.
