People who have kids tend to write that they’re “the proud parents of” so-and-so in their bios, but you never see any that are like “...and she’s the mother of her 13-year-old son, Ben, who she’s kind of disappointed in...”

Acting in a feature film is so weird, man. Nothing is chronological. One day you’re a dead body and the next day you’re drinking beer in a hot tub and then you change your clothes and suddenly you’re in high school again.
There’s that saying of “Dance like no one’s watching” but I think it would be better as “Dance like you’re an extra at a party scene and the music is going to be added in later anyway, so it doesn’t matter what you’re dancing like.”
This is beyond Canadian tuxedo. This is like... Arctic Farmer Business Casual.
It’s funny how all it takes is for one person to make a rude comment or be disrespectful for me to lose my entire sense of self worth and crumble into a gelatinous pile of crippling doubt that makes all of my insecurities come to life.
Small roles I’ve always wanted to play: -A nosy next door neighbor who abruptly closes blinds -A teacher who has the bell ring mid-sentence -A stormtrooper who manages to hit a Jedi, yells “I got one!” And then is shot -A detective whose entire scene takes place in a doorway
