I take issue with the fact that people who don’t code all day aren’t considered “technical. “ I work with a ton of technical people who do not code. And coders look down on me cos I teach and write instead of coding full time. “tech / non-tech” is a division we don’t need.

I saw this tweet this morning and thought a lot about it on my ride in today. I have some thoughts... Re: "silicon valley tech culture of jumping ship every few months" Moving companies every year or two is most definitely one of the best ways to increase your salary level.

One of the biggest red flags when hiring is seeing many jobs in a short period of time. If you're switching jobs every 12-18 months, we're not the right fit for you.
