The Minister, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey led Ghana's delegation to the 2nd #GlobalSummit on #SchoolMeals Coalition in #Brazil, showcasing Ghana's progress in providing nutritious meals to 4.2 million children in 12,000 schools!




The Minister, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, at the recently held #NationalTaxForum2025, restated Gov't pledge to designing tax policies that strengthen #socialprotection deliveries. "The ultimate goal of tax reform is to raise living standards for a better Ghana", she stressed.




The Ministry has begun series of consultative meetings with #stakeholders to develop a #LegislativeInstrument for the recently passed Social Protection #Act 2025 (Act 1148). This demonstrates Ghana’s dedication to enhancing #socialprotection systems for more effective delivery .




The Minister for Gender conducted surprises sopt checks in some Accra schools as the #schoolfeedingprogram begins for the 1st term of the new #academicyear. The Minister checked on meals quality, the #children's wellbeing, as well as ensuring & enforcing caterers accountability.




MoGCSP extends #Urgent support to families displaced by the violent clashes in Sawla Tuna Kalba District. Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey led relief efforts—providing meals, water & assurance of continued gov't aid to protect #women, #children & the #vulnerable. #SocialProtection




In Ensuring no one is left behind in the national scale up, the Minister for Gender, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, monitored enumeration exercise to expand #Socialprotection programs to more vulnerable households in the #Obogu community in the Asante Akim South Municipality.




The Ministry, through its LEAP Programme, has initiated the piloting of the #MobileMoney Payments for #LEAP Beneficiaries. The pilot, being conducted in 50 districts, seeks to enhance the efficiency, reliability, & accessibility of LEAP #payments, especially in remote areas.




On 31st July 2025, was held the historic launch of the Affirmative Action (Gender Equity) Act 1121 - ushering in a new chapter in Ghana’s commitment to promoting #genderequality, #inclusivegovernance, & #socialtransformation. The Act promotes justice, fairness, & shared progress.




The Ministry commemorated this year's #Blueday with Spirited #Healthwalk. The event aimed to raise #Awareness about #HumanTrafficking & highlight #Ghana’s ongoing efforts in the fight against this new form of slavery, particularly under the Human Trafficking Act, 2005 (Act 694).
