Forget the Bihar comparison. TN has done even better than MH in increasing average income. In the 1960s average income in MH and TN were at 400 rupees. But now TN is at 2.25 lac rupees while MH is at 1.35 lac rupees.
TN is criticised for 'freebies' politics. Avg income in 1965. Bihar: Rs.350 TN: Rs.400 Avg income in 2020: Bihar: Rs. 46,000 TN: Rs. 2.25 lacs Taxes paid to Centre (2021): Bihari: Rs.2000 Tamilian: Rs.13,000 How about a 'thank you' to TN instead? My 2017 video explains more.
