Fresh from local supplier Welch in Newhaven harbour our lobster is served with fries & garlic butter or thermidor. Available as a half or whole & perfect to enjoy throughout an #edinburghchristmas
From honeycomb to cherry blossom bubbles our cocktail bar has a boozy creation & garnish for all tastes. You don’t need a restaurant reservation to join us at the bar, just pop in. #edinburgh
As it’s #StAndrewsDay2018 day we feel a whisky cocktail is in order. @Laphroaig 10yo malt, bee pollen syrup, fresh ginger & honeycomb. Our Penicillin whisky cocktail is the perfect antidote for the weekend.

Escape the #Edinburgh chill & let our bar team serve up some winter warmers. Our Royal Mile Blazer made with @GlenfiddichSMW 15yo, Creme de Figue, ruby port, Demerara & whisky barrel bitters will hit the spot.

Another new addition to our whisky cocktail selection. Golden Nectar, made with @TheGlenmorangie Nectar D’Or, sour grape cordial, water & lemon essence. Incredible.
Salt aged lamb rack, peas, hispi cabbage & mint jus. Best enjoyed with a well chosen glass of red.
Adding the final, flamed touches to our new Kirkwall Kicker cocktail. Made with @HighlandPark 12yo malt, fresh lemon, orgeat & mead foam. One of a selection of new whisky #cocktails at Monteiths.

Taste the rainbow with our Skittles Swizzle. Skittles infused Citron vodka, blueberry, lemon & vanilla. Hard to believe but it tastes even better than it looks......
In addition to our main menu we serve lunch daily from 12-4pm. Featuring light options & more hearty dishes such as battered cod, triple cooked chips, pickled onions & tartare sauce.
The Grasshopper Shake - Creme de Menthe, Brancamenta, dark chocolate liqueur, cream, white chocolate & chocolate bitters. A boozy shake for the big kids.
Decadently balanced the Banoffee Monkey is created with @MonkeyShoulder3 whisky, Creme de Banane, quail egg, cream, Demerara, sea salt & chocolate bitters. Served with home made shortbread for an extra treat. #Cocktails in #Edinburgh
