Everything changed for me when I started asking, "Does my grading system instill fear or hope?" That's honestly all it took. My job is not to terrify kids of failure. My job is to help students see their potential and growth.
I told my therapist that I let some things slide that bother me to “keep the peace” and he told me “that sounds nice, but you’re keeping the peace around you....what about the peace in you” Now I just been saying whatever is on my mind.
Breckenridge ISD announced today that a BHS student who tested positive for COVID-19 & more than 35 students who came into "close contact" with the individual are under a 14-day quarantine. All students in grades 3-12 are required to wear face coverings. breckenridgetexan.com/2020/08/27/bre…
