Tonight saw the Knockout Cup tournament. A nail biting final again going for a tie-breaker.
Spooky season, we celebrate with Halloween Silly skittles, a night of games food and fancy dress.
Tonight was a very successful AGM and awarded evening. Plenty of prize awards and gifts were given for another successful year. All followed by plenty of homemade food and chat. Our subs now set at £25 and we return to normal playing next week.
Our winter season has begun, and our AGM is in 2 weeks. We have a full and exciting programme coming up. The knockout cup, Halloween and Christmas party.
Thanks to all those who came to visit today. Hope you enjoyed seeing behind the scenes. Anyone interested to 'have a go' or see the alley in acton, we are running a taster session this Wednesday 17th from 7.30 or drop in any Monday. Over 16s only.

It's another hot day but always cool in skittle Ally. Being in the basement of Moorpoor Hall, it is always the same temperature. Everyone is welcome to trial the club. Just come in and join in 7 30 Mondays and get out the heat for the evening.
Our summer season is in full flow. We have many summer social events and torments coming up. As well as the summer leage many other exciting evenings to be announced.
Next week, 26/5, our meeting has been cancelled due to a majority of members being on holiday. Enjoy the spring bank holiday, and we will be back to normal from the 2nd of June.
We today are remembering the 80th year of VE day. To the fallen and the reason we stood up. We will remember them. 🇬🇧

Just had our Christmas party and awards evening. Our president awarded our new knockout Cup. We wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and 2025 🎄Next meeting on 6th January.
This week. Monday is the last game of 2024. Wednesday (18th/12) is our Christmas party and awards evening. Food, games, live music, and award giving. 🎄🏆
We had a knock-out championship tournament this evening. Very much was edge of our seat, nail-biting stuff. Well done to our winner with a 1 point win.
Happy birthday, Moor Pool Hall! On this day in 1910, the hall was officially opened. 114 years later, and it is still much loved and part of the community. Also, home to Moorpool Skittles, although not for another 3 years.
Flowing our AGM on Monday, the first play of the winter season starts tonight. We play a winter and summer league every year. We now start playing for the historic club championship. Subs for the year are now due at £20. Do come and visit and join if you wish. Meeting at 1930.
