Softball is finishing up and we are working on fitness testing!
This allows our students to take learning into their own hands!
Students will learn about the different fundamentals, rules, safety issues, and how to officiate a game on their own!

Middle school students will be learning how to play floor hockey this week as part of Gym Games
Students have worked on teamwork, communication, offensive, and defensive strategies through a variety of games so far in this unit
Finished our basketball unit at the end of February and moving on to our Gym Games unit in March which leads us to spring break!
7/8 girls BB team lost in the network semifinals - great season girls!
Busy last few weeks here at Morrill, 5/6 girls BB team won the Network 10 title and made it all the way to the City of Chicago quarterfinals
Elem PE this week: small group basketball games and low organized games. Students focusing on teamwork and sportsmanship
Concepts include spacing, ball movement, and rules/etiquette
