Many people don't know this, but Dr. Seuss (yes that Dr. Seuss) did political cartoons before he became a children's book author. He often warned about the rise of fascism under the guise of an 'america first' policy. Pretty crazy how relevant this is, history rhyming again.

You'd have to be British and over 60 to remember this, but the Paris medal party uniforms remind me of a Goodies episode from the 70's. The episode was about "Ecky Thump" which was a Lancastrian martial art involving black puddings, in which the Goodies wore oversized flat caps
