If you’re a member of the @Ch_JesusChrist, this is definitely worth a watch. I’m interested to hear what other people think of it. Dear Mormon Man, Tell Me What You Would Do. youtu.be/RqBWbJIBGdA?si… via @YouTube

Later today, the lesson on D&C 132 will praise eternal marriage but most likely skip the verses about coercion, destruction, and women being “given” away. If those verses make us uncomfortable, maybe that discomfort has something to teach us. #LDS #ComeFollowMe

Mormons should probably stop trying to convince creedal Christians that we’re Christians too. It’s a conversation that goes nowhere because it isn’t really about Christ.. it’s about boundaries and belonging. The need for validation keeps us stuck in a game we don’t need to play.…

I was just offered two callings and I’m not sure what to do. One is in the Sunday School presidency. The entire bishopric knows that I no longer believe which makes it all the more interesting. I’m wondering how TBM’s might feel about this. #LDS #Mormon

Calling LDS garments “the most Christian symbol ever” is a masterclass in gaslighting yourself.

Imagine doing this thousands of years ago in wooden submarines you built on a beach, full of animals, their excrement, mixed with food, no navigation, and how about a bunch of bees. Totally believable.

The restoration of the Aaronic and Melchizedek priesthoods wasn’t mentioned until years after the Church was founded. No early documents mention angelic ordinations. #LDS #ComeFollowMe

The ⁦@Ch_JesusChrist⁩ had the chance to stop a child molester. Instead, they hid behind “clergy privilege” and let the abuse continue. Now, an Arizona court says they can be sued for it. 12news.com/article/news/l…

some of the data on this chart is inaccurate. I should have double checked this, I apologize. I believe this presents more accurate information. While the chart got some ages wrong, it is true that the early church presidents married young teenagers. missedinsunday.com/memes/polygamy…

To all the PIMOs sitting in church today, hearing things you don’t believe and managing for the sake of family, peace, or survival.. you’re not crazy, weak, or broken. You’re doing something incredibly hard and you’re not alone. #LDS #Mormon @Ch_JesusChrist

“The only evil angelic being that can actually plant words in your mind is Satan himself…” This isn’t revelation, Plumb. It’s textbook psychosis. If you’re not speaking metaphorically, please consider getting evaluated.

When you understand you don’t actually have your own thoughts, everything finally makes sense. YOU—the intelligence that stands at the precipice—dictate how thoughts flow. But the thoughts themselves are generated either by angelic voices or the biological functions of the…

Belief isn’t a preference you pick, it’s shaped by what you’re convinced is true. You can act as if, but you can’t will yourself to believe the Earth is flat if you know it’s round. So to my #LDS friends: can belief really be a choice, or not?

I’ve seen several tweets lately from people who left the #LDS Church and chose to come back. It’s made me think. Some return not because they were wrong to leave, but because they found something worth reclaiming. I think there’s room for respect in both directions.
