I feel for those students who worked hard and lost out on the postcode lottery. Without that fiasco the media line today would have been ‘Teachers make a mockery of exam process by overinflating grades’. There never were going to be any winners here and definitely not the kids.

Looking forward to seeing ‘gave up your holidays during a pandemic’ ticked on the ofsted reports from now on for all ‘GOOD’ schools 🙄

"Good" schools will ask staff to come in over weekends, half term breaks and for "twilight programmes" to help pupils catch up, according to Sir Michael Wilshaw tes.com/news/good-scho…

Great resource from @pearson on transport processes to support GCSE biology/combined science students with their home learning. Content and exam technique combined into one! Fully recommend for ITT/NQT's too! youtube.com/watch?v=2hoAN8…

Schools which are at capacity will struggle with 1m distancing! I’d also put some money on the government announcing their plans vaguely mid august 🙄 bbc.co.uk/news/amp/educa…

The current crisis has improved air quality around the world 🌎 there are so many things that shouldn’t go back to how they were...this is one of them! Let’s educate 🎓

On the last day of #CarersWeek, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to all the care workers in #Haringey, for putting others first, even in difficult times. We appreciate everything you do. #IAmHaringey

Great work from KS3 in my science lesson today! They also did an excellent job at debating the topic...I spot some journalists and politicians to watch out for in the future🔮👌🏻

Couldn’t agree more! We are trained to teach so well the year before NQT, let’s teach! #learndontlaminate

What was your biggest waste of a time as an NQT? Mine was spending hours creating 30 laminated traffic lights the children could have on their desk to use to show how they were finding the work. Turns out my own observation, questioning and knowing the children was more effective

👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 surely this wins hands down...🙌🏻

This is brilliant! Useful to so many teachers and will benefit many students in their home learning!
