It is ridiculous to refer to divine commands as “legalism.” Our loving Lord built certain indisputable laws into both the natural and spiritual world. You can break them, but you cannot avoid the consequences. It is not “legalism” to obey God’s Word - it is rebellion not to.
Speak to people in a way that if they died tomorrow, you'd be happy and satisfied with the last thing you said to them.
Sometimes we smile because we are happy, but sometimes we are happy because we smile! 😀
Hands that clap for your success are nice, but hands that wipe away your tears are better.
Pride and fear are two extremes, but both are expressions of the self life. Only one thing conquers both - pride is humbled and fear is emboldened when brought into the presence of God. Everything that says “I can” and everything that says “I can’t” must bow to Christ.
The key to being humble while serving in music ministry is to sing or play for the audience of One—Jesus.

Eternally grateful to my parents for putting me in piano lessons when I was 7. Playing piano in the service of the Lord is one of the greatest joys of my life. Piano Day is held on the 88th day of the year in celebration of and reference to the 88 keys on a piano.
