I'm excited about our final Twitter chat tomorrow! My biggest takeaway from this year is that we need to collaborate and work together to maximize our areas of expertise. #CISDLearns
You’re not going to want to miss this! Our final Twitter chat on “Reflections on the 20-21 School Year” happens tomorrow night (4.20.21) at 7PM CST. Will you join us? Retweet if you’re planning to be there and tell us -- What is your biggest takeaway from this year? #CISDLearns
A4 I feel like my mantra is play. Make people laugh, have fun, be a positive force. #CISDLearns
A3: Sharing activities with learners is key. Breathing, mindfulness. Learners need to be taught to play and create. It isn't intuitive. The older I get, the more I value reflection and mindfulness. #CISDLearns
A2 I am choosing to spend time with family and friends who share a positive outlook on life. I am trying to focus on working out, eating healthy, learning and being mindful.#CISDLearns
A1 I hit the pause button by being with learners in the classrooms. I am energized and content watching them grow and learn. Educators are consistently making time for learners to reset.
Hi, my name is Kristan Hruby. I am the instructional coach @TCETexans I'm excited to spend the hour with you.#CISDLearns
Tonight’s (2.17.21) #CISDLearns Twitter chat has been postponed until further notice. Please stay warm.
Q3 I think the biggest challenge is drilling down to the validity of our assessments. Managing f2f and virtual to keep it equitable continues to be challenging. #CISDLearns
A2: The successes I have experienced this year were when assessing one-on-one or in small group. I am able to determine misconceptions through communication and dialogue with learners. #CISDLearns
So important to know and understand HPLS.
A1 The first thing I consider is Question 1 of PLC "What do we want our students to learn?" Before designing an assessment, we must deeply understand the HPLS and what we want our learners to be able to do! #CISDLearns
A1: Before designing an assessment, I consider the HPLS, timeliness of the assessment, background knowledge of learners and ultimate learning objective. My second step is to determine an equitable platform for administering it to both f2f and virtual learners. #CISDLearns
