When we want behaviors in a child to change, the first thing we need to do is look inward and reflect on our practice. We cannot expect kids to change if we aren’t willing to adjust. It may require learning new approaches. It may even require changing our entire mindset. #SEL

#TraumaInformedTuesday a child who experiences trauma often presents some of the same characteristics & behaviors as children diagnosed with ADHD. This can cause many traumatized children's behaviors to be misinterpreted. It isn't up to us to diagnose, but we should be aware.
