What a GREAT idea! "Plant beans in the buckets to grow up the poles and make a garden Teepee for the kids." One of my goals for the future is to encourage kids to have a love of gardening, plants and living things. STEM school visits that combine math & horticulture. Coming soon!

It’s been a busy morning at the VA General Assembly. VEA’s bills, SB 104 (which would raise VA teacher pay to the national average) and SB 105 (which would create a NBCT Incentive Reward Program), both passed the Senate Health and Education Committee unanimously!
I have some wonderful parents! Today we learned about The Nutcracker AND learned some basic moves a ballerina learns and performs. Thank you Mrs. Jardine for, yet again, coming in and sharing your expertise! (Last month she came in and talked about her life as an archaeologist!)
