The Evolution of African American Music
Foundational African Americans aka Creolized Africans, Africans Of The Diaspora, Neo Africans, and Descendants of Africans Enslaved in the United States.
The hood has traditionally preserved black cultural diversity. What do I mean by this? In the hood, one would typically find more African-centered establishments, such as stores, restaurants, wellness centers, and community events.
All black genres and black knowledge, including black schools of thought, originated in inner cities.
In their writings, Martin Delany and Robert Campbell both explained that they were treated like family when they went to Africa. There is a lengthy history of these connections which predates the formal emergence of Pan-Africanism itself.

Just as other ethnic groups have subgroups (Yoruba: Ìjèbú, Ẹgba, Owu, Ìjèṣà, Oyo, etc), there are African American subgroups many people aren't aware of.
