If someone wants to wear the Skechers stiletto shoe isn’t that their prerogative? Why do we need to make fun of people in public for liking items they like? The amount of “weird”statement pieces I see daily it’s the norm. No one cares and I love that. We should leave ppl alone
A family in the Philippines hangs chickens indoors to protect them from a typhoon.
I have a soft spot for the elderly like Ms. Bernadette 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 let’s not leave them behind
Firefighter Bernadette Jones' home was shredded by Hurricane Melissa. Even with severe loss in Brompton, St Elizabeth, she is still selflessly serving on the job and in her community.
🌺 SEASON OF REMEMBRANCE: LET'S HONOUR THEM WITH 2 MINUTES OF SILENCE 🌺 On Remembrance Day at 1100 hrs (11:00 am), we will stand in solidarity to recognize our veterans and fallen heroes by observing two minutes of silence. This practice, approved by the Governor-General on
So nice 😊
I love watching their faces change when they find out the interviewer can speak their language
My coworkers are supporting me while I support them. Now my Brazilian colleagues are going through it
Philippines is going through it. Imagine getting a terrible typhoon, you start looking for dead bodies & another deadly one makes landfall killing more … all in one week??
I came back & was trying to catch up on resting my body then hurricane hit & now I’m just mentally drained seeing what’s happening. So drained.
Thank you for protecting people’s identity.
#PHOTOHIGHLIGHTS of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) activities in Little Park and Whitfield in St. Elizabeth. Working hand in hand with our brothers and sisters from El Salvador, we brought hope, help and well-needed reprieve to the residents of those areas.
HOPE’S LIGHT Amid the devastation and destruction left by Hurricane Melissa, a glimmer of hope shone brightly beneath the rubble in Bethsalem, St. Elizabeth today, as the #CitizenSoldiers of the Jamaica National Reserve (JNR) in partnership with the Jamaica Legion and the
We CANNOT allow our seniors to get left behind.
This is why we need the voucher system in place. We need a fair and dignified method of distribution. Running down trucks and squeezing through crowds cannot be the way forward for our people to get food. 🎥@TvjNewscentre
2nd field hospital now being mounted at Falmouth hospital, courtesy of the Spanish people 🇪🇸. Fully equipped, including staff and should be in operation today Friday. We will get this done together! 🙏🏿
🚨 HOLY SH*T! THIS ENTIRE CITY JUST GOT ERASED OFF THE MAP Typhoon Kalmaegi just wiped out parts of the Philippines hitting Cebu the hardest. 66 dead 26 missing 400,000 displaced Entire neighborhoods gone overnight. Homes shredded. Water up to the rooftops. Streets turned…
MORE HELP IS COMING FOR JAMAICA Two vessels from the Dominican Republic docked at our ports earlier today carrying relief supplies for Jamaicans. The support by our defence partners have been tremendous since the passage of Hurricane Melissa.
Every mickle mek a muckle
St. Kitts and Nevis will donate USD $100,000 to support Jamaica’s recovery efforts. We stand together as one people. sknis.gov.kn/2025/11/02/gov…
I would say we should preserve history but through proper maintenance management. We could maybe take a page out of UK & Europe books..they’ve preserved history for thousands of yrs but not without maintenance. It’s very costly though that’s the other thing😫😫😫
