Fourth graders used their analysis skills today to discuss this painting’s portrayal of Manifest Destiny. These kiddos used impressive vocabulary such as how the painting “embodies” and “depicts” themes of this time period.

When decoding, students can try the other sound made by letters. Today, we sorted those sounds as a refresher.
