I am very humbled & honored to have been named this year’s recipient of the Music Advocacy Award from the @MAMusicEd . I have always been a strong supporter of music in our schools & I’m proud of the work we’ve been able to accomplish to advance music education in Gardner.
An arts education is essential to the whole of education. Art heals. Art inspires. Art engages. It shapes our thinking, and it moves us to action. Raising the bar in education must include the arts.
Remember!! All LHS Music classes and Ms. Phillips’ Advisory have been moved to the LHS Campus. Remember to plan to take the shuttle or get dropped off at the new location in the mornings. We will meet up in the cafe before every class. See you tomorrow! 🎶
