I once watched a colleague (who had just returned to work after maternity leave) highlight every email in her inbox and press delete. When she saw the look on my face, she shrugged and said, "If they really need to talk to me, they'll find me." I think of her nearly every day.

I don't know whats required. But the very first thing we can do is put pressure on the justice system for harsher sentences on murder and rape. The worst crimes you could ever commit against a human being. 12 years is not a life sentence. (3/5)
No one who knows me would think I am sick or on the verge of death, but if I died of COVID-19, the State of Oregon press release would say I had “underlying conditions.” I have asthma for goodness sake. More than 50% of Americans have underlying conditions.
If there was ONE thing that you had wished your GP had covered more in depth or signposted to you when you were/are (or thinking of becoming) pregnant what would it be? Mulling over potential research/audit opportunities here ahead of returning to practice!
