Most Americans are burned out of Christmas when Christmas Day arrives because they start celebrating Christmas after Thanksgiving or before and totally skip Advent. Just a reminder, Christmas starts on Christmas Day and lasts 12 days until the Epiphany, on January 5th.

Great to read all the posts about folks returning to church. Don’t stop coming in a few weeks like folks did after 9/11. May the spirit of Christ grow in your hearts. God bless the USA and God bless you.

I just returned home from watching "Triumph of the Heart," a movie about the last days of St. Maximilian Kolbe. It's a powerful movie of how a Saint resists overwhelming evil. It's a good lesson for us today, and I encourage everyone to see it.

A note for young couples. A wedding in a Catholic Church is done in the Church and you are asked for a very reasonable donation. A reception is usually done at a hall, hotel or other venue and the cost is usually immense.
