IF Andy Ibanez has agreed to terms on a one-year big league deal with the Dodgers pending physical, per source. Ibanez, 32, was non-tendered by the Tigers in November.
This is a hypothetical, of course, but it feels like it might be realistic. Though it would create two holes and fill just one, finding pitching is an easier task than a star hitter to solidify the lineup. Just a thought. #Mariners

These are the percentile rankings via Statcast, not the actual ground ball and walk rates. Barrel percentile ranking was 93, which is also huge. He's still a project, but it's easy to see how Seattle could finish his development into one of the top relievers in MLB.
He hasn't played 1B since 2020 and only played 20 innings that year, but a refresher course with Mr. Hill could do wonders.

My vote would go to option #2. Subtracting Raley would likely keep them within their budget even with Gurriel's salary. But they'd need to trade for a healthy DH and another RHRP. Iván Herrera & Grant Taylor are 2 names I'd like to see them target in addition to Marte. #Mariners
