One thing about Japanese cars, the older models are easier to repair, it's the newer models that are slightly complicated, then for European cars, they are all pricey to repair and then buying an older model is like skating on thin ice, more pricey😂
You have both looked at only one issue. There are other issues that can't be quantified in monetary terms. We are in a country whose stability is fragile. Owning a house regardless of the distance from the work place, comes with a lot of security and comfort.
If we had a fully functioning public transport system, a car would be a liability and unnecessary in Uganda.
